A beautifully rich bedroom with Sapele lined walls and drawer units beneath a fixed double berth bed. Sapele door fronted wardrobe units make up the end wall and provide a full-width, hanging wardrobe with shelving; plus a shelving unit. Six generous sized drawers under the bed complete a bedroom with greater than usual storage facilities.
Underneath the foot of the bed there is a cleverly concealed radiator, supplying the room with heat as required. A soft beige carpet completes the warmth and comfort.
Two portholes give subtle lighting and provide enough privacy for daytime use. One ceiling light and two wall mounted lights give ample lighting to the room.
A beautiful and innovative feature of this room is the Maple ceiling, which has an eliptical Maple trim, contrasting simplicity of design with complexity of manufacture.
The wall mounted vanity mirror, situated on the opposite wall to the bed, is a "Perkins" design feature, which does away with the need for a space consuming dressing table. An integral light comes on automatically when the doors are opened, revealing a pull-down shelf and mirror. The doors are spring-hinged to prevent unwanted opening. A brass 240 volt plug socket is situated below the mirror (for hairdryers perhaps?).
An outwards opening Sapele faced door opens out into the Passage.
